Over the last 5 weeks, we have been practicing habit changes. We have discussed self sabotage, negative thoughts, guilt, and what really makes us happy. We have even begun to practice changing our personal habits.
Have you ever found yourself being intrigued or even jealous of how some people seem to excel at everything they do? They just look and act like they are extremely happy and have no problems! It is important to understand that nobody can be perfect, but it is possible to be happy. If your life is in a place that seems like everything is an effort and a chore? Clearly, you are not doing what makes you happy.
The best way to develop a life full of happiness is by always putting your best foot forward and directing all your energy into your projects. As long as you acknowledge that you are doing your best, you really are excelling.
You must put effort into everything you attempt, otherwise you can never develop happiness. The truth is that you need to try different things to see what you enjoy. Other people will tell you what you SHOULD do and how you SHOULD be. But in truth? They are not you! And what you need is for you to discover.
You can’t sit on the couch while becoming an excellent runner. You have to get out there and practice running by putting your best efforts into it. The goal is to enjoy the rewards of accomplishing each small milestone. One month you may only be in shape to run 1.5 miles a day. By the next month? You realize that you are now running 2 miles! The work is paying off and the feeling of accomplishment excites you to do more!
You need to be committed in order to learning about yourself and what makes you tick!
Life is full of challenges. These can be ones that you set for yourself, or they can be ones that life throws at you. With any challenge you are going to make mistakes, and there is nothing you can do to avoid this. What you can do, is to learn from your mistakes. When something goes wrong, don’t put yourself down, instead think of what happened and learn from it. WRITE Iin your journal! Re Read the steps that you have taken thus far and remind yourself of your intentions.
Another way to challenge yourself is by setting higher standards. Don’t be satisfied with only doing those things that come easy to you. Do something that takes you out of your comfort zone. Change little habits every three days to improve your situation.
You should be always open to learning. This may include learning from books or by taking courses. But it also includes learning from life and adapting to things as necessary. Be open to becoming a reader of life! Even if its Audio Books!
Be open to new experiences and be willing to learn from your mistakes. Challenge yourself and break the habit of FEAR. This will provide you with a life where you can be happy and healthy and excel at.
Until Next Week!
